Divisional Service Manager – Machinery Division

About the role

The client, a leading business conglomerate in Saudi Arabia, is looking for an experienced Divisional Service Manager to lead the Machinery Division. You will be responsible for growing service market share across the installed base, ensuring profitable and compliant operations, and driving long‑term lifecycle value for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Increase service exploration % across all OEMs represented in the installed base.
• Expand preventive‑maintenance contracts, lifecycle services and convert reactive customers into structured service relationships.
• Own the divisional P&L, including labour revenue, margins, productivity, recovery and absorption.
• Define labour rate structures and service pricing models.
• Set and govern the divisional service strategy, SOPs for workshops and field service, and align with OEM standards.
• Establish technician productivity and utilisation standards, and lead service training and capability development.
• Work with Finance to enforce strong billing, cash discipline and minimise AR risk.
• Act as functional owner for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance, close audit findings and sustain compliance.

Required profile

• Proven aftermarket and service leadership credibility with at least 10 years of experience.
• Deep understanding of service economics, productivity models and pricing strategies.
• Structured, disciplined and standards‑driven approach.
• Strong financial and governance awareness.
• Ability to work across multiple regions in Saudi Arabia and manage cross‑functional teams.
