Document Controller – Mega High‑Rise Project

About the role

Mobco Group is looking for an experienced Document Controller to join a prestigious mega high‑rise project in Makkah. The role involves managing, tracking and maintaining all project documentation to ensure compliance with company and project standards. Immediate availability is preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain document control procedures in line with project and company requirements.
• Receive, register, distribute, file, track and archive all project documents, both electronic and hard‑copy.
• Control and monitor drawings, technical submittals, RFIs, method statements, reports, correspondence and other project records.
• Ensure documents are reviewed, approved and distributed to relevant stakeholders promptly.
• Maintain document registers, version control and confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and internal departments for document submissions and approvals.
• Track overdue documents and follow up with responsible parties.
• Generate periodic document control reports and status updates for project management.
• Utilize ERP and document management systems for accurate tracking and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in any discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of document control experience in the construction industry.
• Proven experience on high‑rise, mega‑building, commercial, hospitality or mixed‑use projects.
• Experience with leading contractors in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation workflows and project control processes.
• Certification in Document Control or Records Management is an advantage.
