Drafting Trainer - Oil & Gas (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

Eram Talent is looking for an experienced Drafting Trainer in the Oil & Gas sector to work on site in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The trainer designs, develops and delivers training on drafting techniques, software applications and industry standards, and mentors drawing and drafting professionals so they can improve their technical skills while meeting safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs on drafting software and techniques for the Oil & Gas industry
• Run hands-on training sessions and workshops to build participants' technical skills
• Assess training needs and adapt programs to client and industry requirements
• Evaluate trainee progress and give feedback and support for improvement
• Keep up to date with the latest drafting technologies, software and industry standards
• Prepare training materials, manuals and documentation
• Work with management and technical teams so training matches project goals and regulatory compliance

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related technical field
• Proven experience in drafting within the Oil & Gas industry
• Experience delivering training or teaching technical subjects to professionals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to tailor training to different skill levels and learning styles

Required skills

• Drafting software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, PDMS and SmartPlant
• Knowledge of Oil & Gas industry standards and safety regulations
• Ability to prepare clear training materials and present effectively
