Electrician – Building and Engineering (Hotel)

About the role

Radisson Hotel Group is looking for a skilled Electrical Technician to join its Engineering team in Jeddah. The role covers practical work on GRMS and BMS systems, electrical and HVAC troubleshooting, and supporting the maintenance of hotel building systems.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot and maintain the Guest Room Management System (GRMS).
• Understand BMS graphics, controllers, sensors, alarms and field devices, and troubleshoot GRMS/BMS issues such as room controllers, thermostats, actuators, relays and communication faults.
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems including FCUs, AHUs, control valves, actuators, fans, motors and their control circuits.
• Identify electrical and control faults using testing instruments and check 24V control circuits, relays, contactors, sensors and actuators.
• Support HVAC technicians in diagnosing electrical and control faults, and monitor communication between BMS/GRMS controllers and field devices.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, attend guest room complaints about AC, temperature control, lighting and occupancy sensors, and coordinate with BMS/GRMS vendors during testing, commissioning and programming.
• Maintain fault, repair and spare parts records, follow electrical safety standards, and support other Engineering activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical qualification in Electrical, Electronics, HVAC or Building Automation.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in hotels or commercial buildings.
• Practical knowledge of GRMS and BMS systems and good understanding of HVAC electrical and control systems.
• Ability to use a multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester and other electrical tools, and to read electrical and control drawings.
• Basic knowledge of PLC, controllers, sensors, actuators, relays and communication networks; good troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with hotel GRMS systems is an advantage.
