Estimation Engineer – Oil & Gas (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

We are hiring an experienced Estimation Engineer for a reputed Oil & Gas company in Saudi Arabia. The role involves reviewing tender documents, preparing detailed cost estimates, and coordinating with engineering, procurement, operations and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review RFQs, ITTs, tender documents, SOW, drawings, specifications, BOQs and client requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, quotations and commercial proposals.
• Perform quantity take‑offs and estimate manpower, materials, equipment, tools, consumables, subcontractors and logistics.
• Obtain and evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotations and prepare resource and cost breakdowns.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Operations and Projects to identify inclusions, exclusions, clarifications and commercial risks.
• Maintain estimation sheets, historical rate/cost databases and prepare BOQ pricing, rate analysis and bid comparison sheets.
• Identify cost‑impacting requirements from technical specifications, support value engineering and participate in pre‑bid meetings, site visits and clarification meetings.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• 5–7 years of experience in estimation and tendering within Oil & Gas, petrochemical, EPC or industrial projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ, Quantity Take‑Off, Cost Estimation and Rate Analysis.
