Executive Manager Regulatory Financial Reporting

About the role

We are seeking an Executive Manager for Regulatory Financial Reporting to lead the preparation, review and filing of financial statements and tax obligations for Mobily and its subsidiaries in Riyadh. The role ensures compliance with Zakat, income tax, CITC and other regulatory requirements while providing tax advice across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Review monthly, quarterly and year‑end financial statements from a Zakat perspective.
• Develop tax, Zakat and CITC calendars and estimate calculations for Mobily and its subsidiaries.
• Coordinate compliance with CITC filing requirements and ensure timely updates of audited financial information.
• Provide in‑house tax advice to various departments and liaise with external tax advisors on complex issues.
• Monitor changes to tax and Zakat legislation and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Prepare responses to queries from Zakat, Income Tax, CITC and Legal departments.
• Handle filing of audited financial statements with the Ministry of Commerce and the Bureau of General Audit.
• Obtain required Zakat certificates for receivables collection and follow up on their issuance.
• Prepare CITC fee calculations and manage the quarterly certification process with external auditors.
• Manage withholding tax matters, review monthly returns and satisfy Tax Authority requirements.
• Prepare and review consolidated monthly VAT reports and settle amounts due.
• Review agreements with foreign suppliers from a tax perspective and recommend mitigation.
• Collaborate with the Legal department to assess financial exposure of court cases.
• Perform other duties as required by senior management.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA, ACCA or MBA preferred.
• Proven experience in regulatory financial reporting, tax compliance and Zakat matters.
• Ability to coordinate and lead a team, set goals and cascade objectives to direct reports.
