Finance Specialist – Credit & Collections

About the role

The Finance Specialist will lead credit risk assessment, collections and accounts receivable activities for a fast‑growing company in the lubricant sector. This role is open to Saudi nationals and works closely with Sales, Customer Service and Supply Chain to balance risk control with commercial support.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer credit history, perform credit evaluations and set appropriate limits.
• Open and maintain customer accounts, ensuring all documentation and approvals are complete.
• Conduct periodic credit reviews for existing customers and monitor collections performance against monthly targets.
• Follow up on overdue accounts, coordinate with external collection agencies and support dispute resolution.
• Prepare weekly aging reports, monthly Statements of Account and ensure accurate account reconciliations.
• Lead and supervise the credit team, assign portfolios and monitor daily performance.
• Ensure compliance with company credit policies, internal controls and approval authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Experience in lubricant, FMCG, automotive or distribution sectors is preferred.
• Strong understanding of credit risk assessment, aging analysis and collection processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills for reporting and data analysis.
