General Accountant

About the role

The General Accountant will support the finance team at Delta Hotels by Marriott Jeddah Al Salam by ensuring accurate financial records, timely processing of invoices, and compliance with company policies. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Verify figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
• Organize, secure, and maintain files, records, cash and cash equivalents.
• Record, store, and analyze computerized financial information.
• Classify, code, and summarize numerical data using journals, ledgers, or computer systems.
• Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute financial, accounting, and payroll reports.
• Complete period‑end closing procedures and related reports.
• Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.
• Follow up on past‑due accounts and vendor invoices until resolved.
• Coordinate tasks with other departments and act as a role model for the team.
• Report workplace accidents and adhere to all company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related accounting or finance experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
