Group Finance Director

About the role

The Group Finance Director will lead enterprise‑wide financial governance, transformation initiatives, and capital‑readiness programs for a diversified Saudi holding group. Reporting directly to group leadership, this senior role combines strategic insight with hands‑on execution to support growth, investment, and IPO objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee finance functions across all subsidiaries, ensuring consistent planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
• Drive the successful implementation and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP across the organisation.
• Lead IPO readiness activities, enhancing governance, internal controls, reporting standards and compliance frameworks.
• Maintain consolidated financial reporting in line with IFRS and listed‑company requirements.
• Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning, investment decisions and financial risk management.
• Manage treasury, banking relationships and financing activities for the group.
• Coordinate engagements with auditors, advisors, regulatory authorities and financial institutions.
• Ensure compliance with ZATCA and all applicable Saudi financial regulations.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing finance team capable of supporting a complex multi‑entity environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably within holding groups or multi‑entity organisations.
• Previous senior roles such as Group Finance Director, Finance Director, Deputy CFO or equivalent.
• Proven involvement in IPO preparation or public‑market readiness initiatives.
• Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and ability to execute transformation programmes.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or comparable enterprise ERP).
