Information Technology Project Manager

About the role

My Clinic is seeking an experienced Information Technology Project Manager to lead system upgrade initiatives and manage major change requests across the Hospital Information System (HIS) and other key IT projects. The role bridges technical delivery and business needs, ensuring projects are delivered on time and aligned with stakeholder expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee HIS system upgrade efforts and manage ongoing enhancements and new system projects.
• Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into technical specifications and delivery plans.
• Track project progress, monitor KPIs, manage risks and issues, and report status to senior management.
• Create and maintain high‑quality technical and functional documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user guides.
• Support the lead resource in day‑to‑day execution, issue resolution, and knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with IT teams on technical improvements, integrations, and performance optimisations.
• Facilitate strong business‑IT alignment and manage change control processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing IT projects, preferably within a healthcare environment.
• Strong ability to coordinate business requirements with technical delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across business, clinical, and IT groups.
• Experience in risk identification, mitigation, and root‑cause analysis.
