Information Technology Specialist – Healthcare IT Engineer

About the role

The Information Technology Specialist will design, implement and maintain robust IT systems for rehabilitation and long‑term care facilities. Working closely with clinical and administrative teams, you will ensure reliable network and server performance, data security, and user support to enable seamless patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deploy and support IT infrastructure including networks, servers, storage, virtualization and clinical applications.
• Perform system administration, incident response, performance tuning, backup management and disaster‑recovery readiness.
• Manage user access, security policies and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA.
• Evaluate, install and maintain hardware and software, monitor system performance and coordinate with vendors.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to optimise EHR, telehealth platforms and clinical devices.
• Deliver technical training, develop SOPs and lead IT projects from planning through execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of IT engineering/administration experience in healthcare or similarly regulated environments.
• Fluent in written, read and spoken Arabic and English.
