Instrument Technician (Level VI) – Jubail

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician (Level VI) to join our team in Jubail. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation equipment within a petrochemical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on all assigned instrument equipment.
• Issue, manage, and close work permits for instrument activities.
• Troubleshoot and repair instrument failures to minimize downtime.
• Update and close work orders in SAP.
• Lead as the senior technician when required.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company safety standards.
• Review and improve preventive maintenance procedures.
• Conduct hard‑communicator and transmitter calibrations, SIL testing, and PLC related tasks.

Required profile

• Diploma in Instrumentation or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 6 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in the petrochemical or oil & gas sector.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

Required skills

• Instrumentation and control systems troubleshooting.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance techniques.
• Proficiency with SAP for work order management.
• Hard‑communicator and transmitter calibration.
• SIL (Safety Integrity Level) testing.
• PLC knowledge.
