Inventory Planner – Demand Forecast & Stock Management

About the role

We are seeking an Inventory Planner to optimise stock levels, ensure product availability and support the efficiency of our supply chain. The role combines demand analysis, replenishment planning and close collaboration with procurement, production and warehouse teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse demand data and sales history to forecast inventory requirements.
• Develop replenishment plans based on consumption rates, lead times and safety stock.
• Monitor inventory levels and keep them within optimal thresholds.
• Coordinate with procurement, production and warehouse teams to guarantee material and product availability.
• Minimise stock‑outs and excess inventory while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Prepare periodic reports on inventory performance, turnover rate and service level KPIs.
• Participate in periodic and annual inventory counts.
• Support supply and planning activities with data‑driven recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in inventory or logistics planning.
• Strong understanding of supply‑chain concepts such as EOQ, safety stock and demand planning.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Data analysis and reporting.
