Logistics Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and organized Logistics Officer to oversee the movement of materials, equipment and tools across multiple project sites. The role ensures that deliveries align with project schedules, resources are used efficiently, and coordination between suppliers, transport providers and internal teams runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor transportation and delivery of materials, equipment and tools to project sites.
• Ensure timely, accurate deliveries in line with project schedules.
• Collaborate with procurement, site teams, suppliers and transport providers to optimise logistics operations.
• Manage warehouse activities, including receipt, issuance and inventory control.
• Track shipments, prepare delivery schedules and resolve logistics‑related delays.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations and local transport laws.
• Prepare and keep logistics documentation such as delivery notes, gate passes, waybills and inventory records.
• Monitor logistics costs and support cost‑control initiatives.
• Coordinate mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment across sites.
• Support audits and inspections related to logistics and material management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably in construction or project‑based environments.
• Strong knowledge of transportation coordination, inventory control and warehouse management.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with ERP systems (advantageous).
