Investment Director – Remote

About the role

We are a Dubai‑based investment firm seeking an Investment Director to lead research and manage the end‑to‑end investment process. This remote, high‑autonomy position combines deep market knowledge with rigorous operational execution to support our diversified alternative‑strategies portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead due‑diligence by sourcing, screening and evaluating investment opportunities across multiple strategies and geographies.
• Analyze performance, risk metrics, investment processes and team capabilities; maintain ongoing manager relationships.
• Coordinate the full due‑diligence lifecycle, track progress and produce comprehensive investment memoranda for senior leadership.
• Monitor macroeconomic data, central‑bank policy and geopolitical developments to generate scenario analyses and actionable insights.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of professional experience in investment management, research, portfolio management or institutional allocation.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Finance, Mathematics, Physics or a related quantitative field.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CAIA or equivalent are preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑stakeholder projects and communicate research findings effectively.

Required skills

• Python programming for investment analysis and portfolio management.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg and other industry‑standard investment tools.
• Additional programming knowledge (R, SQL) is a plus.
