IT Engineer – Systems Administration

About the role

TransPerfect is seeking an experienced IT Engineer to manage, maintain, and enhance its global server infrastructure. The role involves ensuring high availability, security, and performance of Windows and Linux environments across multiple data centers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policies, and user accounts.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers, including automation of repetitive tasks.
• Participate in infrastructure capacity planning, disaster recovery design, and testing.
• Perform routine server updates, patching, and software deployments.
• Implement and maintain security solutions such as anti‑virus, data safeguards, and remediation processes.
• Monitor system performance, resolve operational issues, and provide support to help‑desk staff.
• Provide application‑level support for e‑Discovery tools (Relativity, Cloudnine Law).

Required profile

• 5+ years of systems administration experience in multi‑platform environments.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proven problem‑solving ability with hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Concrete understanding of Windows operating concepts and services.
