IT PMO – Medical Projects (KSA)

About the role

The IT PMO – Medical is responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring IT projects that support the hospital’s medical activities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role works closely with clinical, nursing and IT teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead IT projects related to medical operations and clinical applications.
• Ensure project governance follows PMO standards and methodologies.
• Collaborate with Medical Leadership, Nursing, Quality and Clinical teams.
• Coordinate internal teams and external vendors.
• Develop and monitor project plans, budgets and performance indicators.
• Identify, assess and manage project risks.
• Prepare project reports and dashboards for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
• Support change‑management initiatives and end‑user training.
• Act as liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or PMI‑PMO certification is highly desirable.
• 7‑10 years of IT project‑management experience.
• Mandatory experience within a hospital or healthcare environment.
• Proven experience in projects involving medical operations, nursing services, quality management, EMR/EHR or clinical applications.

Required skills

• Project management expertise (Agile and/or Waterfall).
• Experience with PMO tools.
• Strong understanding of Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
• Hands‑on experience with InterSystems TrackCare.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
