About the role
SoftwareOne is looking for a Public Sector Key Account Manager to strengthen long‑term relationships with existing customers and drive business impact through technology solutions. You will own the end‑to‑end customer experience, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and growth across the public‑sector portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned public‑sector accounts and build trusted relationships.
- Own the full customer journey, from onboarding to renewal, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and pursue upsell, cross‑sell, and new business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions on time and meet customer expectations.
- Track, forecast, and manage account performance, KPIs, and financials using CRM tools.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience selling licensing and service solutions.
- Background in sales or account management, preferably within technology or services.
- Strong relationship‑building mindset with a customer‑focused approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Commercial awareness and basic financial/forecasting understanding.
