Lead Product Designer

About the role

Jeeny is seeking a Lead Product Designer to head its product design team and elevate user‑experience research across its ride‑hailing platform. The role combines strategic design leadership with hands‑on involvement in mobile and web product development for the Saudi Arabian and Jordanian markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of product designers and associate product designers, fostering their professional growth.
• Define, execute, and continuously improve user‑experience research and testing processes.
• Produce and regularly review comprehensive research findings and insights.
• Prioritise design backlogs, plan and run design sprints, and ensure timely delivery.
• Track, report and achieve design‑related metrics and KPIs.
• Develop short‑term and long‑term design strategies aligned with business goals.
• Represent the design function in cross‑functional forums and facilitate thought‑leadership workshops.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of product design experience on user‑facing mobile and web applications.
• Background in technology companies operating in transportation, delivery or e‑commerce is a plus.
• Experience working in the Middle East, particularly Saudi Arabia or Jordan, is preferred.
• Native Arabic speaker is an advantage.
