About the role

The Lead Specialist, Commercial Intelligence II will drive advanced market analysis and commercial intelligence activities, turning complex data into actionable insights that shape pricing, positioning, and overall commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the analysis of global and regional market trends, including supply‑demand dynamics, pricing movements and macro‑economic drivers.
• Consolidate market data into structured, decision‑ready insights to support commercial and strategic decision‑making.
• Monitor key market drivers and proactively highlight risks and opportunities affecting revenue and margin.
• Support the development of demand forecasts and market outlooks aligned with business planning cycles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Engineering or a related analytical discipline (mandatory).
• Master’s degree (MBA, MSc in Economics, Finance, Strategy or Market Intelligence) strongly preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, PMI or relevant analytics certifications are an advantage.
• 7–10 years of experience in commercial intelligence, pricing analysis, market intelligence or commercial strategy, preferably within metals, mining or heavy‑industrial sectors.

Required skills

• Strong analytical capability to evaluate market trends, pricing drivers and commercial performance data.
• Ability to structure complex datasets into clear, decision‑ready outputs.
• Competence in conducting competitor benchmarking, including pricing, cost positioning and market dynamics.
