Logistics Operations Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Logistics Operations Specialist to support the logistics and operational functions of a high‑profile football tournament in Saudi Arabia. The role will be based in Riyadh, Khobbar, Jeddah, or another location within the Kingdom, depending on candidate preference.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day logistics and operational activities for the tournament.
• Support planning and execution of logistics strategies, including schedules and trackers.
• Manage movement of materials, equipment, and assets, monitoring deliveries, installations, and removals.
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, service providers and internal teams to track vendor deliverables and timelines.
• Maintain logistics trackers, reports, and status updates; prepare daily/weekly operational reports.
• Document logistics issues, resolutions, and action items, ensuring proper filing.
• Provide on‑ground logistics support during tournament days, resolving challenges and handling urgent changes.
• Ensure compliance with safety, procedural standards and identify risks or bottlenecks, escalating when necessary.

Required profile

• Previous experience in logistics, operations, or coordination roles.
• Familiarity with FIFA‑related requirements is a plus.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Saudi Arabia and relocate if needed.
• Experience with major sports tournaments, international sporting events, stadium or venue logistics, large‑scale event infrastructure, or multi‑venue event logistics is strongly preferred.
