Logistics Optimization Manager

About the role

The Logistics Optimization Manager will lead data‑driven initiatives to improve fleet performance, delivery speed, and rider utilization. You will own the full data lifecycle and translate complex datasets into actionable recommendations for logistics and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable dashboards and automated reporting pipelines covering fleet performance, delivery speed, order stacking, cost per delivery, and rider utilization.
• Extract raw data using SQL and BigQuery, then create business‑ready visualisations in Tableau, Looker, or Data Studio.
• Automate recurring logistics reports to free leadership time for strategic decision‑making.
• Develop predictive models and forecasting tools for demand planning, supply‑crunch detection, and staffing efficiency.
• Identify bottlenecks across order dispatch, assignment logic, and delivery stages to reduce overall delivery time.
• Monitor order stacking efficiency, NPS, and customer experience metrics tied to logistics performance.
• Analyse logistics failures across vendor, rider, and customer touchpoints and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with workforce planning to optimise shift models and on‑demand staffing.
• Act as the logistics liaison for local and global product rollouts, gathering operational pain points and translating them into business cases.
• Serve as the first escalation point for logistics issues, coordinating fixes and communicating timelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics or supply‑chain data analysis and optimisation.
• Strong ability to translate large‑scale datasets into clear, actionable insights for cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with dispatch, algorithm, and product teams to improve operational processes.
• Track record of building automated reporting pipelines and predictive models.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
