Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Al Mutawa Trading & Transport Company is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join its operations team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role covers overseeing maintenance activities, troubleshooting equipment faults, managing spare parts and improving equipment reliability while complying with operational and safety standards. The position is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Diagnose equipment faults and implement effective repair and maintenance solutions.
• Supervise maintenance technicians and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance operational reliability.
• Manage spare parts requirements and verify compliance with technical specifications.
• Prepare maintenance reports and keep accurate technical documentation.
• Ensure maintenance complies with company safety procedures and operational standards.
• Prioritize maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime and disruptions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• More than 3 years of practical experience in maintenance operations and spare parts management.
• Experience managing spare parts inventory and interpreting technical specifications.
• Ability to oversee maintenance technicians, coordinate workloads and monitor work quality.

Required skills

• Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Technical reporting, maintenance planning and workplace safety procedures.
• Organizational, analytical, problem-solving and time-management skills.
