Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Alfanar Electric, the industrial arm of Alfanar, which manufactures low, medium and high voltage electrical construction products, is hiring a Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer in its industrial complex in Riyadh. The role oversees and manages electrical maintenance activities, develops and implements maintenance procedures, diagnoses and resolves electrical issues, and supervises a team to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve unplanned machine breakdowns quickly so machines can return to production and meet monthly targets
• Plan and supervise preventive maintenance to protect machine lifetime and reliability
• Request and control electrical spare parts, monitor spare parts stock against agreed targets and contribute to cost reduction
• Design and carry out machine modifications to improve productivity or introduce new product generations
• Manage, train and coordinate the electrical maintenance team; record work in SAP to keep machine history and track working times
• Plan and oversee electrical installation of new machines and coordinate relocation work with the mechanical team
• Follow EMS policies and OHSAS health and safety standards, and keep a secure working environment
• Report progress to management and give monthly reports on preventive maintenance, breakdowns and spare parts stock
• Work within the 5S methodology and help reduce energy costs
