Manager – Business Applications

About the role

A leading healthcare organization in Saudi Arabia is looking for an experienced Manager – Business Applications to lead the EMR application portfolio. The role oversees patient administration, revenue cycle, and health information management systems while ensuring stability, compliance, and alignment with clinical and business needs across multiple facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the EMR portfolio covering PAS, RCM, and HIM modules.
• Support and optimise workflows for registration, ADT, scheduling, billing, claims and clinical documentation.
• Oversee integrations with LIS, PACS/Radiology, Pharmacy, NPHIES, patient portals and medical devices.
• Ensure interoperability using HL7, FHIR and APIs.
• Lead application support, incident management, SLA monitoring, change and release management, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain operational, clinical and revenue‑cycle reports, dashboards and KPIs.
• Drive process optimisation, digital transformation and EMR enhancement initiatives.
• Implement data governance, access management, data quality and compliance with Saudi healthcare regulations.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors and technology partners.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Business Applications/EMR team.

Required profile

• Proven experience implementing, optimising and supporting EMR/EHR systems in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Deep knowledge of patient administration, revenue cycle management and health information management workflows.
• Strong understanding of Saudi healthcare regulations such as PDPL, NPHIES, CBAHI, MOH and CHI.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and act as a senior escalation point between IT and business units.
