MDG Functional Consultant - SAP Master Data Governance

About the role

The MDG Functional Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing and supporting SAP MDG solutions. The role requires strong expertise in SAP MDG frameworks, workflows, data modelling and integration with downstream systems, and involves working with business users, technical teams and governance leaders to implement data governance policies, ensure master data integrity and support ERP and MDG stabilisation. The position is based in Dammam, onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and support SAP MDG solutions
• Troubleshoot and design MDG change requests and related workflows
• Collaborate with SAP functional and master data teams
• Deliver presentations and demos to stakeholders
• Establish and enforce data governance policies
• Guide business users on SAP usage and best practices
• Maintain ERP system stability and data integrity
• Take part in discovery sessions to gather requirements
• Analyse, design and document technical solutions
• Coordinate with system integrators and consultants
• Support master data quality assurance across the lifecycle

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• 7-10 years of SAP MDG implementation and support experience
• Certified in the SAP MDG domain
• English

Required skills

• MDG BRF+ workflows, change requests and MDGIMG configuration
• Data validations, derivations, modelling and architecture
• Mass consolidation, mass processing and multi-object processing
• Standard and custom data models (materials, finance, EAM)
• Integration tools: IDOCs, SOA, services, proxies; web services and data warehousing
• SAP ECC 6.0 and its core modules; utilities processes preferred
• Microsoft tools
