Mechanical Engineer – Construction & Healthcare Projects

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical system delivery on construction projects, with a focus on healthcare facilities. The role involves ensuring all works follow approved drawings, specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and supervise mechanical works for compliance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams throughout all project phases.
• Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning activities for mechanical systems.
• Identify technical issues and provide engineering solutions to keep projects on schedule.
• Review materials, shop drawings, and technical submittals related to mechanical systems.
• Ensure safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines are met.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering within construction projects.
• Mandatory experience on healthcare facility projects.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with engineering standards and construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
