Medical Science Liaison (Contractor)

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will support Allergan's Medical Aesthetics portfolio across Saudi Arabia and the broader MEA region. Working as a non‑promotional scientific resource, the MSL will engage healthcare professionals, provide balanced medical information, and contribute to the overall competency of Medical Affairs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in dermatology, plastic surgery and medical aesthetics.
• Lead scientific exchange with healthcare professionals, delivering education on current and pipeline products.
• Organise advisory board meetings, support clinical trial feasibility and assist with pharmacovigilance activities.
• Provide insights to cross‑functional teams to shape brand strategy, tactical planning and medical‑marketing messaging.
• Deliver internal and external training sessions on the Allergan Aesthetics portfolio.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD) or advanced scientific degree (PhD). Candidates with a pharmacy or scientific bachelor’s/master’s degree may be considered with relevant experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical medical affairs, preferably in dermatology, plastic surgery or medical aesthetics.
• Proven ability to build influential relationships with KOLs and manage advisory boards.
• Understanding of the Saudi Arabian market and multinational work environments.

Required skills

• Knowledge of medical‑aesthetic therapies and associated indications.
• Experience with scientific communication, clinical trial support and pharmacovigilance compliance.
• Ability to translate scientific data into clear, balanced messaging for healthcare professionals.
