Nursing Supervisor – Riyadh

About the role

The Nursing Supervisor will lead the nursing team in a busy clinic, ensuring high‑quality patient care, infection control, and efficient operation of medical equipment and supplies. This role combines direct patient care with supervisory duties to maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Disinfect clinical surfaces and equipment at the start of each shift and after each patient.
• Greet patients, take and document medical histories, and screen for fall, nutritional, and functional risks.
• Triage emergency‑room patients and perform minor wound dressings.
• Prepare and administer intramuscular and intravenous medications under aseptic conditions.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, and escort patients in ambulances.
• Withdraw blood for laboratory investigations and monitor patients under observation.
• Maintain stock levels, keep inventory of medical equipment, and ensure uninterrupted supply of consumables.
• Orient newly recruited nurses, supervise registered nurses, and conduct annual performance appraisals.
• Collaborate with the medical director to ensure quality patient care and participate in the community advisory committee.

Required profile

• BSc in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 5 years post‑graduation clinical experience plus 2 years in a nurse‑manager role.
• Fluent spoken and written English and Arabic.
• Proficiency with a Healthcare Information System.
