Paramedic – Advanced Life Support (ALS)

About the role

The organization seeks a qualified Paramedic to deliver high‑quality patient care in emergency settings, ensuring confidentiality and strict adherence to EMS guidelines. The role involves operating and maintaining ambulance vehicles, participating in continuous professional development, and supporting a collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care addressing physical, medical, and cultural needs while following approved medical protocols.
• Operate, inspect, and maintain EMS vehicles and equipment to guarantee reliability and safety.
• Complete administrative duties, prepare vehicles for deployment, and follow Medical Control directives.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and research activities to stay current with EMS trends.
• Anticipate and respond to potential problems, manage medical supplies efficiently, and support teamwork.
• Perform other duties within the scope of the position as assigned.

Required profile

• Physically able to perform emergency medical duties.
• Minimum 1 year experience as an Advanced Life Support (ALS) Paramedic.
• Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Medical Services or a higher qualification.
• Excellent oral and written English and Arabic communication skills.
• Valid Light Transportation Driving License and Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) registration.
• STEP English Test score ≥65% or IELTS ≥5.0.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Microsoft Office (basic level).
• Ability to drive Type I, II, III ambulance vehicles.
