Patient Care Coordinator – Healthcare

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join a leading healthcare organization in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on delivering exceptional patient experiences by managing the entire patient journey, from initial consultation through follow‑up care, while acting as the primary liaison between patients, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the patient journey from initial consultation through follow‑up care.
• Schedule appointments, procedures, referrals, and diagnostic services.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring timely communication and support.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and clinical teams to facilitate high‑quality patient care.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, procedures, medications, and follow‑up instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is complete and up to date.
• Address patient concerns professionally and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality, healthcare policies, and quality standards.
• Support continuous quality improvement initiatives and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related healthcare field.
• Minimum 2 + years of experience in patient care coordination, patient relations, or medical administration.
• Previous experience in hospitals, medical centers, or specialized clinics is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using Hospital Information Systems (HIS/EMR).
