Podiatry Nurse

About the role

DiaServ is seeking a dedicated Podiatry Nurse to join its diabetes care team in Riyadh. The nurse will deliver specialized foot‑health services to patients with diabetes, ensuring early detection and effective management of foot complications.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients' lower extremities and perform routine foot examinations.
• Document clinical findings accurately and support preventive strategies for diabetic foot complications.
• Provide wound care, nail and skin care, and assist podiatric procedures under physician or podiatrist supervision.
• Educate patients and families on foot hygiene, risk factors, and self‑care practices.
• Coordinate follow‑up appointments, referrals, and multidisciplinary team communication.
• Adhere to infection‑control and safety standards and contribute to quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Professional nursing qualification (diploma or degree) with a valid Saudi nursing license or eligibility.
• Experience or strong interest in podiatry, diabetic foot care, wound management, and preventive foot health.
• Knowledge of diabetes management, basic vascular and neurological assessment of the lower limbs, and infection‑control practices.
• Excellent clinical assessment, documentation, and patient‑education abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, manage time effectively, and prioritize patient care in a busy clinical setting.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Comfort with electronic health records and basic computer applications.
