About the role
The Portfolio Senior Lead is responsible for driving portfolio prioritisation and ensuring alignment with the bank’s strategic initiatives. This role guarantees that projects and programmes follow RB’s overall strategic direction throughout their lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Lead portfolio prioritisation and alignment with strategic initiatives and objectives.
- Ensure projects and programmes remain consistent with RB’s strategic direction from initiation to closure.
- Prioritise the project portfolio in line with strategic pillars and initiatives.
- Support Corporate Strategy Delivery and contribute to achieving strategic goals through planning, monitoring and controlling.
- Apply benefits‑realisation management to monitor business results and track value against KPIs.
- Review programme changes, re‑forecast value creation and manage benefit realisation.
- Coordinate quarterly planning with Business Units and Business Technology, setting clear priorities and delivery dates.
- Develop capacity planning to match resource demand and supply, ensuring efficient utilisation.
- Maintain compliance with safety, quality and environmental policies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Strategy or Finance.
- 8‑10 years of experience in project management.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
Required skills
- MS Office – advanced.
- EPM and MS Project – advanced.
- Presentation skills – advanced.
- Financial modelling.
