Project Manager – Oil & Gas Software Development

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead strategic software development initiatives for a leading Oil & Gas organization in Jeddah. The role involves overseeing end‑to‑end delivery, applying Agile and Scrum practices, and coordinating cross‑functional teams to ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and deliver software development projects from initiation through closure.
• Define and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources and risk registers.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, clients and multidisciplinary teams to align expectations and drive project success.
• Monitor progress, produce status reports for senior leadership and proactively resolve issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience, preferably in software development.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master or Agile are a plus.

Required skills

• Agile and Scrum methodology expertise.
• Hands‑on experience with project management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of software development life‑cycle (SDLC) processes.
