Public Transport Mapping/Navigation Specialist - Bus/Rail

About the role

We are looking for a specialist to ensure the accuracy, consistency and reliability of mapping and navigation data across all passenger information systems. The role supports seamless journey planning, real‑time updates and the integration of new routes, stops and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update route alignments, stops and network data across all mapping platforms.
• Ensure accurate integration of mapping data with journey planning tools, mobile apps and passenger information systems.
• Validate and correct spatial data discrepancies in coordination with planning and operations teams.
• Support real‑time updates related to detours, service disruptions and network changes.
• Coordinate with ITS teams to align mapping, AVM and AFC systems.
• Assist in the deployment of new routes, stops and infrastructure within mapping systems.
• Ensure compliance with data standards and mapping accuracy requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Geomatics or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in mapping, GIS or navigation systems.
• Experience in transport or mobility systems is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Good coordination skills with technical and operational teams.
