Purchasing Manager – Procurement Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement activities, ensuring timely acquisition of goods, materials and services while maintaining quality and cost efficiency. The role involves supplier management, contract negotiation and close collaboration with inventory and warehouse teams.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily purchasing activities based on departmental requirements.
• Source, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers considering quality, price, delivery and service.
• Request and analyze supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
• Prepare and issue purchase requisitions, purchase orders and supplier contracts.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and commercial agreements.
• Track purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers for on‑time deliveries.
• Maintain accurate supplier databases, pricing records and procurement documentation.
• Review supplier invoices against purchase orders and receiving reports.
• Coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams to monitor stock levels.
• Resolve procurement‑related issues, delivery delays and supplier performance concerns.
• Monitor supplier performance and recommend improvements or alternative sourcing.
• Prepare periodic procurement reports, cost analyses and purchasing KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, budgets and internal controls.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing, supplier management and contract negotiation.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Professional proficiency in English preferred.

Required skills

• ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo or similar.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency.
