Quality Engineer – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

The Quality Engineer will oversee quality activities across infrastructure and construction projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. This role provides technical guidance to junior staff and collaborates with internal teams, vendors, and auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Issue quality records and non‑conformance reports.
• Inspect cable laying, identification, loop checks, and perform material and equipment inspections on site.
• Update as‑built drawings and manage punch‑list operations.
• Conduct visual, dimensional, continuity, and insulation resistance tests on power transformers, switchboards, batteries, sockets, and lighting systems.
• Calibrate safety valves and instruments, install and test functional and communication aspects of instruments.
• Witness and verify tests, controls, and inspections against the Quality Control Plan.
• Maintain documentation for tests, controls, and inspections and ensure adherence to the approved Inspection Test Plan.
• Monitor compliance with ISO 9001 and the company Quality Management System (QMS).
• Develop and improve quality procedures, participate in management reviews, and support quality performance assessments.

Required profile

• Experience in infrastructure and construction projects.
• Ability to supervise teams and provide practical guidance.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and QMS documentation.
