Resident Obstetrics & Gynecologist

About the role

The Resident Obstetrics & Gynecologist provides inpatient care at Care National Hospital, ensuring high‑quality medical treatment in line with professional ethics, JCIA standards, and Saudi Ministry of Health regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Take patient histories, perform physical examinations, and interpret basic diagnostic tests.
• Admit patients from the ER after consultant approval and develop investigation plans.
• Execute consultant‑approved treatment plans and conduct daily ward rounds.
• Document patient management plans, maintain accurate medical records, and update progress notes.
• Prepare discharge summaries, death reports, and special reports as required.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, respond to emergencies, and assist consultants with diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
• Supervise junior staff and engage in departmental education and training activities.

Required profile

• Minimum of 36 months (3 years) relevant clinical experience.
• Ability to work under supervision of a senior consultant.
• Commitment to adhere to hospital policies, by‑laws, and quality standards.
