Retail Supervisor - Beauty

About the role

Chalhoub Group, a luxury retailer with over 10 owned brands and more than 950 stores, is hiring a Retail Supervisor for its beauty business in Riyadh. The supervisor helps Store Directors and Managers maximise the commercial performance of their shops and deliver an exceptional guest experience, and acts as a bridge between the back office and the stores they control or audit.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure Store Directors and Managers maximise commercial performance and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Bridge the gap between the back office and the stores under their control, implementing corrected solutions and actions.
• Cascade the brand strategy within the network and, with Marketing, ensure full implementation of marketing and customer experience strategies and programmes.
• Apply brand guidelines while taking each market's specifications into account.
• Follow up periodically on sell-out figures per line and on stock, manage potential shortages, review orders and inform the merchandising team of the status.
• Record, monitor and analyse market trends and competitors' activities, and provide commercial reports based on market studies and in-house systems.
• Define sales targets per sales team member, monitor brand performance and send recommendations.
• Manage organisational resources within budget guidelines and keep management informed of the brand's financial position.
• Develop and motivate team members, give them feedback and appraisals, and ensure efficient knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Ability to understand and cascade the brand strategy within the network.
• Ability to work with Marketing on the implementation of marketing and customer experience strategies.
• Ability to follow brand guidelines according to each market's specifications.
