SCCM Administrator – Windows Server & Patch Management

About the role

The SCCM Administrator will be responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing management of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) infrastructure. You will ensure reliable software distribution, patch management, and OS deployment across Windows client and server environments while supporting L2/L3 Windows server operations.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and configure SCCM, WSUS, and related components, including infrastructure upgrades.
• Manage OS images, task sequences, and application deployment, troubleshooting OSD issues on Windows 10/11.
• Ensure timely patch and update installation for client and server systems to maintain security and compliance.
• Provide L2/L3 support for Windows servers, including physical and virtual environments (VMware/Hyper‑V).
• Perform root cause analysis, incident, problem, and change management following ITIL standards.
• Maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and user account/access rights.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and monitoring reports.
• Participate in 24/7 support rotation and propose service improvement plans.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with SCCM (L3 level) and WSUS administration.
• Strong background in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Failover Clustering.
• Proven ability to design and troubleshoot OS deployment and application packaging.
• Experience with ITIL‑based incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 support environment.
