Senior ElasticPath Engineer

About the role

InnovationTeam is seeking a Senior ElasticPath Engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of high‑performance e‑commerce solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to create scalable platforms that meet client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of ElasticPath solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and best practices.
• Design and customize ElasticPath commerce modules such as product catalog, promotions, orders, and customer management.
• Integrate ElasticPath with CRM, ERP, payment gateways, and other third‑party APIs.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and business analysts to deliver end‑to‑end e‑commerce solutions.
• Ensure performance optimization, security compliance, and scalability of the platform.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and consultants.
• Prepare technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest e‑commerce technologies and ElasticPath advancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience, with at least 3 years hands‑on ElasticPath.
• Strong knowledge of ElasticPath Commerce architecture, APIs, and extension frameworks.
• Proficiency in Java development and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience integrating ElasticPath with enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, or payment gateways.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior team members.
• Customer‑focused and collaborative mindset.
