Senior Interior Architect – Refurbishment & Fit‑Out Specialist

About the role

The Senior Interior Architect will lead the development and delivery of interior architectural solutions for refurbishment, rehabilitation, fit‑out, and workplace enhancement projects. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure that designs are functional, user‑centric, compliant, and aligned with operational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Create innovative interior architecture concepts that improve functionality, user experience, and operational performance.
• Conduct space planning, workplace planning, and occupancy assessments; produce layout plans, space programs, and design concepts.
• Support refurbishment, rehabilitation, and fit‑out projects from concept through implementation, including material selection and detailing.
• Develop and review Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) recommendations, coordinate furniture layouts, and ensure consistency with design intent.
• Review architectural and interior design packages, participate in coordination workshops, and verify compliance with regulations and accessibility standards.
• Perform site inspections during construction and fit‑out, monitor workmanship and material quality, and manage shop‑drawing and mock‑up reviews.
• Engage with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior interior architect or similar role, preferably on large‑scale refurbishment and fit‑out projects.
• Strong understanding of interior architecture principles, space planning, and workplace design.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
• Attention to detail, with a focus on quality, compliance, and cost‑effectiveness.
