Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will lead audit engagements in line with Salehiya Healthcare’s Internal Audit Manual, supporting the risk‑based audit plan. This role ensures that internal controls are effective, risks are managed, and operational efficiency and compliance are continuously improved.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audit procedures according to the approved audit program, including walkthroughs, interviews, document reviews, and surveys.
• Identify and assess risks related to the audited area or process.
• Document auditee processes, select samples, and perform substantive testing and analytical procedures.
• Prepare working papers and ensure audit evidence is properly documented.
• Draft audit findings and recommendations for review by the Audit Supervisor.
• Assist in preparing and presenting audit reports to management.
• Support audit follow‑up by testing management’s corrective actions.
• Continuously develop internal audit competencies through professional development.

Required profile

• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CIA or CISA is preferred.
• 4–5 years of experience in internal audit or a comparable audit function.
