Senior Manager – Architecture Design for Sports Facilities

About the role

Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a Senior Manager to lead architectural design for its Sports Business Unit. You will drive the design of world‑class sports venues from concept through construction, ensuring they meet international standards, sustainability goals, and the company’s vision.

Key responsibilities

• Provide architectural design management for sports assets, collaborating with Development Lead, Senior Director of Design, Project Design Director and sub‑consultants.
• Coordinate design and engineering across all disciplines and align with budgets and project timelines.
• Lead weekly design meetings and liaise with the master developer as required.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, City Framework standards, and federation requirements, staying current with code changes.
• Monitor consultant deliverables, review drawings, and approve or comment using the CRS process.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 7‑15 years of professional architectural design experience, with a strong focus on sports facilities such as stadiums and arenas.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience in the Middle East region is preferred.
