Senior Operative - Store Warehouse

About the role

Chalhoub Group, a luxury retailer with over 10 owned brands and more than 950 stores, is hiring a Senior Operative for its Swarovski store in Riyadh. The Operative carries out warehouse operations such as receiving shipments, preparing orders and dispatching them.

Key responsibilities

• Receive goods: offloading, checking and putting away all incoming consignments
• Pick and pack customer orders according to requirements
• Check, load and dispatch vehicles against dispatch documents
• Perform value-added services such as scanning, cello wrapping, heat shrinking and labelling
• Keep stock replenished and assist in stock counts and verifications
• Handle stock carefully, store it neatly and report defects or damage to supervisors
• Maintain machinery, equipment and consumables, and keep the warehouse clean and tidy
• Follow standard procedures and work instructions, and uphold health and safety standards (ISO 45001 and ISO 14001)
• Report incidents and accidents, complete incident documentation and maintain a cooperative, customer-focused work environment

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not required; on-the-job training is provided
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks
• Commitment, integrity, empathy and flexibility

Required skills

• Basic computer skills
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
• Understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management and shipping/receiving processes is beneficial
