Senior SEO, AI Search & Digital Performance Specialist

About the role

Reso, a research and analytics firm based in Bahrain, is seeking an experienced SEO, AI Search and Digital Performance Specialist for a short-term, client-facing consulting assignment in Saudi Arabia lasting 2-3 months. The role covers technical SEO, AI content readiness, AI search performance and digital content performance analysis, working with client stakeholders to improve website discoverability and content visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret website assessments covering technical SEO, AI search readiness, visibility and digital content performance
• Analyze results, identify technical and content gaps and recommend practical improvements
• Lead and take part in technical meetings, explain findings and guide stakeholders on SEO, AI search readiness and content optimization
• Follow up on issues, track improvement actions and document progress
• Review assessment methodologies, indicators and data sources, and prepare structured documentation of the current state and improvement priorities
• Facilitate knowledge transfer through guidance, documentation and working sessions with client teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, Data Analytics or a related discipline
• Minimum 7 years of experience in technical SEO, AI search optimization, digital content performance, web analytics or related advisory roles
• Strong analytical skills and experience preparing technical reports and presenting findings to technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
• Preferred: experience with government entities or large organizations, AI search monitoring platforms, digital assessment frameworks, workshops and knowledge transfer, and Arabic proficiency

Required skills

• Technical SEO: crawling and indexing, website architecture, structured data and organic visibility
• AI search: GEO, AEO and content readiness for AI-generated responses
• Tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Similarweb or Talkwalker
