Senior Tax Associate – KSA Fintech

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Associate to lead tax compliance and reporting for our fast‑growing fintech operations across Saudi Arabia and the GCC. The role will partner with finance, IT and business teams to ensure accurate tax filings, audit readiness and regulatory adherence.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate tax, Zakat, VAT and withholding tax returns, ensuring timely payment and accurate calculations.
• Calculate monthly and year‑end tax provisions and support financial reporting.
• Maintain audit‑ready documentation for tax positions and regulatory submissions.
• Manage end‑to‑end activities on the ZATCA portal, including registrations, returns and query responses.
• Assist statutory and tax audits by coordinating with external auditors and ZATCA officials.
• Monitor changes in Saudi tax legislation and evaluate their impact on the business.
• Ensure e‑invoicing (FATOORA) compliance in collaboration with IT and finance teams.
• Review contracts and cross‑border transactions for correct withholding tax treatment.
• Support transfer‑pricing documentation and related‑party disclosures as required.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and help automate tax workflows within the ERP system.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in tax reporting, compliance or external audit, preferably in fintech, banking or a Big 4 firm.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi tax regulations (Zakat, CIT, VAT, WHT, e‑invoicing).
• Professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA is highly preferred.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle NetSuite.
• Hands‑on experience with ZATCA portal submissions.
