SSHE Officer

About the role

The SSHE Officer will ensure a safe, healthy and environmentally responsible workplace at the Almanhal Water Factory. You will implement Nestlé’s EHS policies, conduct inspections, and lead incident investigations to protect people, property and the environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement all EHS policies and procedures in line with Nestlé standards.
• Perform workplace inspections and hazard analyses.
• Investigate, document and photograph accidents and incidents, then compile reports with corrective recommendations.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments and suggest improvements to reduce discomfort.
• Collaborate with staff to lower the frequency and severity of accidental losses.
• Deliver safety training as required.
• Prepare emergency response plans.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 45001‑2018 standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Risk Management or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in health and safety.
• SAFETY Kawader certificate.
• OSHA, NEBOSH or HSE/OSH certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 45001 standards.
• Experience with OSHA/NEBOSH safety practices.
• Ability to conduct ergonomic and hazard assessments.
• Proficiency in incident investigation and reporting.
