Stewarding Supervisor

About the role

A Radisson hotel in Jeddah is looking for a Stewarding Supervisor to support the smooth running of the stewarding department and help the kitchen and food and beverage teams deliver a high-quality guest dining experience. The role also involves leading the stewarding team, controlling costs and inventory, and maintaining cleanliness and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the kitchen and food and beverage departments so they can focus on the guest experience.
• Proactively improve guest satisfaction by responding promptly to guest enquiries and resolving problems.
• Deliver plans and objectives so stewarding initiatives and hotel targets are met.
• Supervise the stewarding team and foster a culture of growth, development and performance.
• Control costs and inventory and attain productivity and performance levels.
• Build effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.
• Own the planned deep cleaning and preventative maintenance programme and keep cleanliness standards high.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, with due diligence, best practice and documentation for internal and external audits, including follow-up.

Required profile

• Experience in stewarding.
• Strong supervisory skills with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
• Commitment to exceptional guest service and a passion for the hospitality industry.
• Problem-solving ability and personal integrity.
• Ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy.

Required skills

• Experience working with IT systems on various platforms.
• Strong communication skills.
