Survey Engineer

About the role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Survey Engineer to lead land surveying, setting‑out and geospatial activities for infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures that all construction works are accurately positioned according to approved drawings, coordinates and tolerances, working closely with engineering, construction, BIM and project management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute surveying activities in line with project requirements and construction schedules.
• Establish, maintain and verify survey control points, benchmarks, reference stations and coordinate systems.
• Review and validate survey control networks for accuracy and consistency across work areas.
• Perform setting‑out for civil, structural, utility, road, pavement and airfield works, establishing lines, grids, elevations and reference points.
• Conduct topographic, boundary, as‑built and verification surveys for runways, taxiways, aprons, roads, drainage, foundations and other infrastructure.
• Coordinate survey data with BIM, GIS and project teams to ensure proper integration and documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum five years (60 months) of professional experience in surveying and geospatial work.
• Proven ability to work on large‑scale civil, structural and infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction tolerances, control networks and coordinate systems.
